LASER RESISTANT TRACHEAL TUBE FOR LARYNGEAL SURGERY LASERTUBUS BY RUSCH
The Rusch LASERTUBUS is a laser-resistant endotracheal tube.
Manufactured with rubber, the clinically proven material of choice, and white Merocel sponge that dissipates the laser light.
The Lasertubus offers resistance to the Ar +,Nd/Yag and CO2 type lasers. The tracheal tube is designed to offer maximum access and optimum visibility within the operating site. The Lasertubus has a unique two-stage protection system that provides superior laser resistance. The white Merocel sponge dissipates the laser light and prevents backscatter, while the micro-corrugated silver foil prevents the laser light form penetrating the tube shaft.
The Lasertubus also has a double balloon cuff that has an excellent resistance to the diffusion of anesthesia gases. This dual cuff system assures that even if the outer seal is perforated by the laser beam, the trachea will be sealed by the inner cuff.
