THE RADLyn™ STYLET - For The Difficult Airway
New The RADLyn™ Stylet is a latex free stylet with an inflatable dilation balloon near its distal end. The Stylet is placed through a lubricated endotracheal tube so that the distal tip of the endotracheal tube meets the black line on the dilating balloon. The balloon is then inflated. The RADLyn™ Stylet can be bent to almost any shape; a unique end cap is used to lock the stylet into the endotracheal tube and provide greater stability.
The narrow stylet tip easily passes through the glottic opening while the tapered balloon further opens the tissue to the diameter of the endotracheal tube. The endotracheal tube passes smoothly and easily without a change in technique.
